Bulgarian Restaurant "69" in Lodz was established in April 2013. As great enthusiasts of this country, we believed that the inhabitants of Łódź deserve a bit of sunny Bulgaria in the heart of the city. We are one of three restaurants operating in Poland, which serve Bulgarian cuisine. Our goal is to serve dishes based on original Bulgarian recipes and prepared using original Bulgarian products. Nowadays, Bulgaria is becoming a more popular holiday destination for many Poles. For those who have not yet had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful country, sample the delicious cuisine of our southern Slavic Brothers, and visit yourself to truly get the Bulgarian experience.

On 21st of February Bulgarian Restaurant 69 along with the Department of South Slavic Studies of University of Lodz organized the MEETINGS WITH BULGARIA event. Domain Menada’s representative presented the company’s vineyards followed by a short speech about Bulgarian wines. The event was accompanied by tasting wine and Bulgarian dishes. The group of our distinguished guests consisted of the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Governor of Lodz, President of Lodz, Vice-Rector of University of Lodz and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology.

From 22nd to 24th of November 2013 Bulgarian Restaurant 69 along with the Open Europe Foundation and the Bulgarian Institute of Culture organized the DAYS OF BULGARIA festival .The event was taken under honorary patronage of the Ambassador of Bulgaria in Poland – his excellency Vassiliy Takev. Among numerous attractions we prepared a photographic exhibition, projection of Bulgarian movies, Bulgarian songs workshops, culinary workshops and tasting of Bulgarian dishes.
